P.S.C.S.C. is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian camp. The camp is located approximately 2 miles south of Watseka, Illinois. (Click here for our exact location.)
The camp is directed by a Camp Manager (Dustin Wells) who is responsible to a Board of Directors, which is composed of members of supporting churches of Christ (a.k.a. Christian churches). These churches are located in Iroquois, Ford, Kankakee, and Vermilion Counties in Illinois, and Jasper, Newton, and Pulaski Counties in Indiana.
We believe Prairie States Christian Service Camp is a great investment in spiritual development. Therefore, we continually strive to find new ways to improve our ability to share the love of Jesus. To this end we are blessed to have wonderful deans, faculty, and staff. They make sure we accomplish that goal.
We are proud to be one of, if not the least expensive camp to attend. Less than 25% of camp costs are covered by the fees we charge. The rest of our budget is provided by people who believe in what we do. If it were not for the prayers and financial support given we would not exist. Our desire is to create a positive Christian experience for all who attend.
